El alcalde ha participado en la presentación ante el empresariado de Gibraltar del proyecto del Centro de Excelencia de la Cuarta Revolución Industrial con sede en La Línea de la Concepción

El alcalde de La Línea de la Concepción, Juan Franco, ha acompañado al empresario, Carlos Moreira, fundador, presidente y director ejecutivo de WISeKey, a la conferencia que ha pronunciado esta mañana ante el sector empresarial de Gibraltar de los ámbitos del blockchain, gaming y cryptomonedas.

La presentación se relaciona con el proyecto de implantación en La Línea de la Concepción de un Centro de Excelencia de la Cuarta Revolución Industrial, la fase primera para el lanzamiento de la Primera Constelación de WiSeSAT y la instalación de una Estación Terrestre de Control, en el que colabora su empresa junto a Fossa Systems, cuya primera fase fue presentada ayer en el teatro Paseo de La Velada.
La intervención se ha realizado en el despacho de Hassans International Law Firm Limited y durante la misma se han esbozado los beneficios que supondría para el territorio gibraltareño la posibilidad de conectarse con el proyecto, debido a su expansión tecnológica en territorio de la Unión Europea.
Junto al alcalde de la ciudad destacar la presencia del teniente de alcalde y delegado municipal de Subvenciones, Sebastián Hidalgo.
